Weather & Climate
The Blackall Range enjoys a wonderful climate throughout the whole year, with four distinct seasons, each offering different and unique attractions.
In Summer, the cooler days and fresher evenings are a welcome change to the relentless heat of the city or the coast. Enjoy a refreshing dip in one of the many waterfalls or creeks.

Autumn brings a feast of colour with red-leaved Maple trees, and beautiful camelias and azaleas bursting forth with scented blooms.

In Winter there's romance afoot with fresh misty mountain days, cosy candlelit dinners and nights cuddled up in front of cheery log fires.

In Spring the Blackall Range is alive with colour, as the spectacular Jacaranda trees explode with delicate purple blossoms, and gardens swell with spring flowers blooming to their fullest.
With an average elevation of 500m, the fresh, mountain air is around 2-3 degrees cooler than the nearby Sunshine Coast.
The rolling vibrant green hills and thick rainforests are testament to the excellent year-round rainfall.
